Slide brick is a functional refractory for continuous casting. It is widely used in ladle and tundish sliding nozzle systems such as electric furnace, converter and refining outside the furnace. It is installed at the bottom of ladle and tundish as a switch to control the flow rate and velocity of molten steel. It has to endure chemical erosion of molten steel at 1600 C for a long time, and pressure of tens of tons or even hundreds of tons of molten steel. Therefore, it is required that sliding tile has high temperature resistance, excellent corrosion resistance, erosion resistance and thermal shock resistance. At the same time, in order to realize the function of opening and closing steel flow, the smoothness, parallelism and shape dimension of sliding surface of sliding tile must strictly meet the requirements.
